Glial Cells are Intrinsic in Health and Disease Webinar
30 April @ 8:30 pm - 9:30 pm AEST
Free - $99.00

This Webinar considers how auditory processing may influence, and be influenced by, the type of cortical stimulation that a chiropractic adjustment can deliver. Glial cells were once thought to be simply the ‘glue’ in the nervous system, a poor cousin to electrically excitable neurons. As the true extent of glial function is emerging in recent years, the neuro-centric model of the brain is being replaced by a synergistic neuroglial model in which glia are extensively and inextricably linked with neurons in health and disease.
This webinar will give an overview of the latest research in glial cell biology in health and disease, with a brief foray into the TCM perspective on neurodegenerative diseases and potential lifestyle interventions.
