SUMMARY:DEXA\, Function & MSK Health in the GLP-1 Era Webinar
DESCRIPTION: \nAICE Chiropractic Lifestyle Medicine are presenting a webinar titled “DEXA\, Function & MSK Health in the GLP-1 Era” by Dr Carl Thistlethwayte. \n \nGLP-1 medications are reshaping weight management\, but changes in body weight alone do not tell the full musculoskeletal story. \n  \nThis webinar explores how DEXA body composition analysis\, functional assessment and lifestyle screening can be combined in chiropractic clinical practice to identify changes in muscle\, bone\, fat distribution and physical capacity. \n  \nUsing a practical Screen–Confirm–Act approach\, Dr Carl Thistlethwayte will demonstrate how DEXA measures such as appendicular lean mass\, visceral adipose tissue and bone mineral density can be interpreted alongside grip strength\, sit-to-stand testing\, functional performance and lifestyle factors to support monitoring\, patient education\, health behavioural change and multidisciplinary care. \n \nDate: Wednesday 4 November 2026Time: 8:30pm – 9:30pm AEDT Registrations close Wednesday 4 November 2026 at 7:30pm AEDT.\n \n* You may be able to incorporate content from this event into your annual learning plan.\n*  ACA Event Registration Terms and Conditions can be viewed here\n \n

SUMMARY:AICE Chiropractic Neurorehabilitation - Case Studies Webinar
DESCRIPTION: \n\n \n \n \n \nAICE Chiropractic Neurorehabilitation are presenting a webinar on ‘Case Studies’ to be held Wednesday 18 November 2026 and presented by Dr Ben Taylor and Dr Paul Bergamo.\n \nThis webinar will cover two case studies: \n  \nHands on India Neurorehabilitation Cases from February 2026 Trip \nIn February 2026\, Dr Paul Bergamo joined twenty fellow chiropractors on a philanthropic trip to West Bengal\, India\, working alongside Hands On India to bring functional neurology care to underserved communities. \nThis webinar draws on rare\, live footage recorded with permission from Hands On India during that trip – real neuro cases reviewed on the ground with graduate chiropractors sitting right alongside. \nThe session focuses on complicated presentations most chiropractors rarely see in everyday clinic – cerebellar stroke\, Parkinson’s disease and upper motor neuron lesions – walking through how each was assessed and reasoned through in the field. \n  \nFrom Brain to Spine: A Metabolic and Neurological Approach to Migraine and Spinal Pain \nMigraine\, neck pain and low back pain often show up together\, and treating each one on its own can leave patients stuck. \n  \nDr Ben Taylor’s case study follows a patient with all three who was managed with a combination of chiropractic care\, neurorehabilitation and a ketogenic nutrition protocol. \n  \n\nDate: Wednesday 18 November 2026Time: 8:30pm – 9:30pm AEDT\n\n \nRegistration closes on Wednesday 18 November 2026 at 7:30pm AEDT.\n \n* You may be able to incorporate content from this event into your annual learning plan. \n*  ACA Event Registration Terms and Conditions can be viewed here

DESCRIPTION:Connect and Learn – Above C1: Rethinking Cervicogenic Dizziness – Ballina\n \nJoin us for our End of Year Connect and Learn for 2026 with the amazing Dr Carlo Rinaudo. \n  \nThe topic for the evening will be “Above C1: Rethinking Cervicogenic Dizziness” catch up with local colleagues\, and meet ACA Regional Manager\, Cheryl Jendrachowski. \n  \nCervicogenic dizziness is frequently attributed to dysfunction at the upper cervical spine\, particularly C1–C2. However\, clinical experience shows that many patients do not fully respond to localised cervical treatment alone. \n  \nThis two hour presentation revisits cervicogenic dizziness from a central integration perspective\, highlighting the role of brainstem and vestibular processing in symptoms commonly labelled as “cervical.” \n  \nAttendees will be guided through a clinically relevant framework that explains why looking above C1 is often essential for understanding persistent or complex dizziness presentations. \n \nSee you there!\n\n\n\n\nDate: Saturday 21 November 2026 Time: 5:00pm to 9:00pm – Includes Dinner Location: Ballina RSL Club\, 1 Grant Street\, Ballina\, NSW \n \nRegistration closes Friday 20 November 2026 at 5:00pm AEDT.\n \n* You may be able to incorporate content from this event into your annual learning plan.\n*  ACA Event Registration Terms and Conditions can be viewed here
