The ACA Podcast continues to be one of the most dynamic platforms for the Association to connect with and engage our members on key topics of interest. Exploring the art and science of chiropractic, these podcasts have been entertaining members since their inception in 2016. During this time, the podcast streams have been increasing year to year, with a string of esteemed interview guests and experts from Australia and around the world discussing a range of timely, informative and stimulating topics. The ACA Podcast is not only an opportunity to disseminate knowledge, best practices, research and updates within the profession but, most importantly, to foster a sense of community among members and the Association.

We extend our sincere thanks to Dr Anthony Coxon, who has diligently curated these podcasts for the past eight years. His leadership in this role is truly commendable, and we recognise Anthony’s dedication and passion for the profession through his exceptional work behind the scenes to create these entertaining podcasts!

As you may already know, Anthony has handed over the ACA podcast reins to our wonderful and enthusiastic member, Dr Kim Lie Jom. If you’ve met Kim, you know one of his favourite things to do is have a good chat and connect with people and experts from all walks of life. With his enthusiasm for the profession, spreading knowledge and exploring how chiropractors can strive for excellence, we’re excited to see what Kim has in store for the future of the ACA podcasts!

“I was excited to begin a new era in podcasting for the ACA; Dr Anthony Coxon had set such a high bar for me to follow, and I was excited to continue that legacy and put my ‘flavour’ on it. My aim is to keep our listeners up to date with the latest research on all things chiropractic, both nationally and internationally.”

“I also want to engage our listeners with some of the personalities in our profession who are still in private practice and who have witnessed changes within our profession over the years and share their experiences of how and why they still love being in practice. Hopefully, this will inspire our students and new graduates to strive to carry the “chiropractic torch” forward. All this is to bring a greater sense of collegiality amongst our membership and build on the strength of our profession and Association.”

Kim has now produced several podcasts, with guests including Drs Heidi Haavik, Andrea Huddleston, Damian Kristof, Professor Lise Hestbaek from Denmark and Nick Breen from RN Labs. If you haven’t already, head over to the ACA Podcast page and have a listen! You can also listen on your device via Apple Podcasts and Spotify.

If you have a podcast episode idea or know an excellent interview guest, please get in touch with Kim at kim.liejom@chiropractors.org.au. He would love to hear from you!

In the meantime, keep tuning in. We look forward to continuing to bring these engaging and informative podcasts to our members.
