Get ready for a fantastic Thursday evening in Murdoch on 18 September 2025!
 
Join us for a ‘Connect and Learn’ with lecturer Dr Ryan Smyth of Murdoch University.
 
The topic for the evening will be Real World Diagnostic Imaging Cases Referred by Chiropractors, catch up with local colleagues, and meet Western Region Manager, Mrs Joanne Servaas.
Ryan will be presenting a series of real-world diagnostic imaging cases that have come through his reporting practice, cases referred by chiropractors.
 

Each case will be explored in depth, beginning with patient history and clinical presentation, followed by a review of the imaging findings and discussion of the diagnostic considerations.

 

These cases are selected to reflect the types of challenges chiropractors face in practice and to highlight the value of integrating imaging into clinical decision-making. 

 
After the learning, stay for a something to eat and drink where the conversation and good times will continue. It’s going to be a perfect evening of knowledge and networking.

    Dr Ryan Smyth
    Biography

    Ryan graduated from the New Zealand College of Chiropractic (NZCC) in 2016. Following his graduation Ryan pursued a diagnostic imaging residency from 2017 to 2019, culminating in the attainment of a Diplomate of the American Chiropractic Board of Radiology (DACBR) in 2019.

    After finishing his residency, Ryan continued at NZCC as a lecturer, teaching a variety of diagnostic imaging courses. In January 2022, he moved to Perth and took on his current role of Lecturer in Diagnostic Imaging Interpretation at Murdoch University.
