Women’s Health Week (1-5 September) is Australia’s largest national event dedicated to the health and wellbeing of women, girls, and gender-diverse people. This year’s theme, ‘Say yes to you’, encourages self-prioritisation across all aspects of health.
To mark the occasion, the Australian Chiropractors Association and Women in Chiropractic (WIC) invite you to a series of Connect & Learn events across the country. These events cover a range of women’s health topics and are designed to support professional growth, create meaningful connections, and focus on the health of both your patients and yourself.

Safe, Skilled and Self-Aware: Everyday Safety for Women in Clinical Practice

Dione Chan is a safety expert, licensed security agent, and Director of ICP Group Australia. She’s protected high-profile clients like former Prime Minister Julia Gillard and volunteers as an Ambulance Officer. She gained global attention in a viral video while working security for Drake, showing calm under pressure. Today, Dione empowers women – especially students and young professionals – to build confidence, stay safe, and navigate risk with awareness and strength.

Dr Kylie Booth
Dr Kylie Booth has over two decades of experience in general practice, beginning her career as a rural GP before developing a strong interest in integrative nutritional and environmental medicine more than 15 years ago. She is passionate about using this approach to support patients where traditional medicine may fall short. For the past four years, Kylie has worked at Thrive Family Practice in their dedicated Endometriosis Clinic, expanding her expertise in the complex and evolving area of pelvic pain.

Dr Amy Norman
Dr Amy Norman earned her Bachelor and Master of Chiropractic at Macquarie University and holds additional qualifications in Musculoskeletal Acupuncture and Chiropractic Neuro-Rehabilitation. In 2017, she became one of only seven Australians to achieve board certification with the American Chiropractic Neurology Board (D.A.C.N.B). She is also a certified Aquanatal Instructor with a special interest in pregnancy, paediatrics, and supporting young families.

Donna Lohmeyer
Donna Lohmeyer is a registered nurse and midwife with nearly 30 years’ experience and a BSc Honours in Midwifery from King’s College London. She holds fitness and Pilates certifications and founded Sydney Aquanatal®, offering water-based classes for pregnant and postnatal women. Donna also works as a research midwife and has postgraduate training in Child & Family Health and Diabetes Education.

Liz Crisp
Liz Crisp is a physiotherapist with a Bachelor of Health Sciences from Auckland University of Technology and a Postgraduate Certificate in Pelvic Floor Physiotherapy from the University of Melbourne. Her background in dance and sport, plus personal experience, led to a focus on pelvic health. She works at Melbourne Pregnancy & Pelvic Physio, treating incontinence, prolapse, and pregnancy-related pain. Liz uses education, manual therapy, and exercise, and is trained in dry needling and pessary fitting.
