The topic of discussion for the afternoon will be “Sensory Processing in Chronic Pain Syndromes”, catch up with local colleagues, and meet ACA Southern Region Manager Serita Burger.
The afternoon will give an understanding the role of sensory processing in chronic pain syndromes, explore sensation as a potential biomarker for medically unexplained pain along with identifying additional benefits of cranial nerve testing beyond detecting pathology.

- Dr Nicole Quodling
- Biography
Dr Nicole Quodling is a dedicated chiropractor with over 30 years of neurorehabilitation and chronic pain management expertise. She holds a Bachelor of Science from the University of Adelaide, a Master of Chiropractic and a Master of Chiropractic Sports Science from Macquarie University. Nicole is certified as a Diplomate of the American Chiropractic Neurology Board (DACNB) and is pursuing a Master of Science in Neuroscience at the Carrick Institute in the USA.
As the Principal Chiropractor at her practice in Walkerville, South Australia, Nicole leads a multidisciplinary team focused on transforming the lives of individuals with chronic pain. She believes in the power of integrated care and emphasises personalised, evidence-based treatment tailored to each patient’s unique needs.
Passionate about advancing the field, Nicole actively engages in research and has been published in international journals including Frontiers in Pain and Brain Sciences. She is also committed to mentoring fellow chiropractors, helping them enhance their practice and improve patient outcomes.
