FreeConnect and Learn Canberra
Get ready for a fantastic Friday evening in Canberra on 29 November 2024!
Join us for a unique ‘Connect and Learn’ evening with the amazing Dr Natalie Sharp.
Dive into the fascinating topic of Quiet Eye Training, catch up with local colleagues, and meet ACA National Membership Manager, Mr Jeff Hughes.
The evening begins with a clear introduction to the Quiet Eye concept, explaining how it directly affects an athlete’s ability to focus, make accurate decisions, and perform under stress. You’ll gain insight into how athletes can train their visual control to align their mental focus with motor skills, resulting in smoother, more controlled movements.
After covering the theory, we’ll shift to practical application, using the fun setting of the 18-hole putt putt course to simulate exercises you can use with your athletes. The drills will help you understand how to train your athletes to lock in their visual attention, eliminate distractions, and maintain calm under pressure. You’ll also explore ways to seamlessly incorporate Quiet Eye techniques into existing training programs, offering tangible benefits for your athletes’ performance.
After the learning, stay around for a bite where the conversation and good times will continue. It’s going to be a perfect evening of networking and fun.
See you there!
