Join us for our first ‘Connect and Learn’ for 2026 with the amazing Dr Julie Uren and Dr Zoe Braund.
 
The topic for the evening will be “A Screening Exam for the Musculoskeletal System and a Neurodevelopmental Screening in School Age Children” catch up with local colleagues, and meet ACA Regional Manager, Cheryl Jendrachowski.
 
In line with children returning to school, Julie will cover a screening exam that can be used in your clinic when assessing school aged children and Zoe will present on a neurodevelopmental screening in school age children.
 
After the learning, stay for food and beverages where the conversation and good times will continue. It’s going to be a perfect evening of knowledge and networking.

    Dr Julie Uren
    Biography

    Julie is a chiropractor of 20 years. Prior to this she was a midwife of 20 years.

    She has a special interest in the chiropractic care of pregnant women and children with much of her postgraduate study in these areas.

    Julie's post grad training includes the diplomate of paediatric chiropractic and ICPA certification. Julie is a committee member on the ACA AICE paediatric committee and is a titled member. She is also co-organiser of 'The Kids Summit' raising funds for research into the chiropractic care of children.

    Dr Zoe Braund
    Biography

    Zoe has a Bachelor of Science from UNSW and a Masters of Chiropractic from Macquarie University and has pursued further studies throughout the last 24 years that focus on brain based wellness to assess and balance neurological integrity, nutrition, biochemistry, gut microbiome and emotions.

    While Zoe works with bodies of all ages with a wide range of presenting concerns, she is in her element working with children. From babies to teens, she works with children with learning delays, behavioural problems and development concerns. She has a wealth of knowledge and practical tips to support many family challenges.
