  Dr Julie Uren

  Biography

  Julie is a chiropractor, from Sydney, with 17 years of experience. She has a special interest in caring for pregnant women and children. Julie worked for 18 years as a midwife prior to becoming a chiropractor.
  The medicalisation of pregnancy and birth has changed the way most of society sees birth. The results of this have impacted our society. What happens in the period of pregnancy through to the first year of life will potentially impact the child and/or the mother and family unit forever. Often pregnant families are not provided with valid, current, or evidenced information to make informed decisions. Julie has a desire to help others to fully understand the implications both emotionally, and physically, of the choices made around pregnancy and birth by directing to appropriate resources and support networks.
