Senior Pelvic Floor Physiotherapist Liz Crisp will guide you through the complexities of pelvic floor function, helping you understand how to recognise signs of both underactivity and overactivity.
Liz will cover sensitive but critical issues like incontinence, constipation, pelvic pain, hormonal factors, and their impact on the nervous system. Curious about the link between the pelvic floor and breathing, sexual function, jaw clenching, or abdominal dysfunction? Liz will connect the dots in a way that’s accessible, relevant, and immediately useful in practice.
Wrap up the afternoon with relaxed conversations, good food, and great company. It’s the perfect blend of learning, connection, and inspiration.

- Biography
Liz Crisp is a physiotherapist with a Bachelor of Health Sciences from Auckland University of Technology (2012) and a Postgraduate Certificate in Pelvic Floor Physiotherapy from the University of Melbourne (2016). With certifications in APPI Matwork and Equipment Pilates, Liz brings a strong foundation in rehabilitation and movement-based therapy. Her early experience as a dancer and netballer, along with her own injuries, sparked a passion for sport physiotherapy, which later evolved into a focus on pelvic floor health after her personal experience with strength training revealed the complexities of pelvic floor dysfunction.
Now based in Melbourne at Melbourne Pregnancy & Pelvic Physio, Liz approaches physiotherapy holistically, combining education, manual therapy and exercise rehabilitation to support patients with a range of pelvic health concerns including incontinence, prolapse, sexual pain, and pregnancy-related conditions. She has a special interest in complex pelvic floor cases, pelvic girdle pain, coccyx and sacroiliac joint issues, and is trained in dry needling and pessary fitting.
