AICE Chiropractic Neurorehabilitation are presenting a webinar on “Functional Neurology for the Practicing Chiropractor: A Historical and Clinical Review of the Cerebellum ” to be held Wednesday 22 April 2026 and presented by Professor Frederick Carrick.

In this dynamic and engaging webinar, Prof. Frederick (Ted) Carrick takes clinicians on a fascinating journey through the history, science, and clinical relevance of the cerebellum, one of the most remarkable structures in the human brain.

Blending historical insight with modern clinical application, Prof. Carrick traces the evolution of cerebellar understanding from the earliest neuroanatomical observations to contemporary concepts of sensorimotor integration, cognition, and adaptive neural control.

Importantly, this presentation is designed specifically for the practicing chiropractor at the bedside. Prof. Carrick demonstrates how careful clinical observation and thoughtful neurological examination can reveal cerebellar dysfunction without the need for advanced imaging or complex technology. Attendees will learn practical, reliable bedside methods for evaluating cerebellar integrity—including tests of coordination, eye movements, posture, gait, and timing—allowing clinicians to better recognize subtle neurological signs in everyday practice.
