The OPEN Clinical Pain Management Training Program is an online, interdisciplinary training program funded by the Department of Health, Disability and Ageing. This CPD-accredited program is developed by Australian experts in pain management education and clinical care, and is designed for health professionals across all disciplines who support patients living with chronic pain.
Through the course, you’ll get:
-
20 CPD hours
-
practical strategies for assessing pain and planning care
-
evidence-based approaches to support patient self-management
-
flexible, self-paced learning designed to fit around busy clinical workloads.
Grounded in the latest research and real-world clinical practice, the program helps you deliver best-practice pain care. OPEN is available to general practitioners, nurses, allied health professionals, pharmacists, care workers and students. The training can help with assessment, care planning and supporting patients to better self-manage their condition.
OPEN costs $280 ($140 for students) as a one-time fee for unlimited access. Proceeds from the program are reinvested into pain management education and research.
