These awards will be presented at the ACA Big Tent Conference Dinner in Adelaide in August 2026.

This week, Australia celebrates NAIDOC Week (5-12 July).

This year’s theme, ’50 Years of Deadly,’ celebrates five decades of recognising and celebrating the history, cultures, achievements and contributions of Aboriginal and Torres Strait Islander peoples and Communities.

The new financial year is officially here. With it comes a multitude of fee table updates through the various third-party schemes, employment-based increases to wages and superannuation and other business changes.

These changes are relevant to members, both those who own and operate businesses, as well as employees and associates.

Your 2026/27 ACA membership renewal was issued earlier this month. Thank you for your continued support of the Association and the profession. Your membership helps ACA advocate for chiropractors, advance the profession, and deliver valuable member benefits and services.

If you have not yet renewed, click here to pay your 2026/27 membership fees. Members who have elected to pay via monthly instalments will be automatically renewed on 6 July 2026.

To obtain a copy of your membership renewal receipt, please log in to the ACA Member Dashboard and select ‘Receipts’ from the left-hand menu.

We are now in our third week of Spinal Health Month! This week’s spotlight is on Women and Families, and the far-reaching impact back pain can have on daily life, mental wellbeing and family responsibilities.

New back pain impact data reveals that 87% of Australian women experienced back pain in the past year, highlighting just how widespread this issue has become.

Earlier this week, we launched our Women, Back Pain & Mental Health Spinal Health Month 2026 campaign video. Spread this video, and its important message, within your community by downloading it and sharing it on your social media pages.

This week marks National Reconciliation Week 2026 (27 May – 3 June). This year’s theme, All In, is a call for all Australians to commit wholeheartedly to reconciliation every day. It reflects the understanding that meaningful reconciliation cannot be achieved from the sidelines; it requires action, participation and a shared commitment from all of us.

Furthermore, the Association will be attending relevant sector debriefs to assess the practical implications for chiropractors, practices, and patient access to care.

For members in NSW, Victoria, Tasmania, South Australia, and the ACT, this weekend marks the end of Daylight Saving Time. At 3 am Sunday, 5 April, clocks will wind back one hour. Remember, most smartphones and digital devices connected to the internet will typically reset automatically.
