- Biography
Dr Gilles Laur is a clinician with extensive experience in venous disease and skin cancer medicine, with a strong focus on early detection, minimally invasive treatment, and preventive care. He is a Fellow of the Australasian College of Phlebology and a fellow of the American Society for Laser Medicine and Surgery, reflecting advanced training in phlebology and laser-based therapies. He is also an Accredited Skin Cancer Doctor and a Senior Lecturer at James Cook University.
Through his clinical practice, procedural expertise, and academic teaching, Dr Laur has developed recognised expertise in the assessment and management of chronic venous insufficiency and the early diagnosis of skin cancer. In this webinar, he shares practical, evidence-based insights to support improved recognition of high-risk lesions and optimisation of treatment pathways in both vascular and skin cancer care.
