The topic for the afternoon will be “Building a Community of Clinician-Authors”
Are you a practitioner or student who wishes to become a better writer and publish in peer-reviewed journals?
This is not a ‘one-off’ presentation about how to write, the intention is to build a network of friends and colleagues who support each other in sharing, through publication and our enthusiasm for chiropractic.
The afternoon will cover:

An overview of the record to date of Australian Chiropractic publishing

Survey and discussion of audience experiences with and barriers to publishing

Writing a case report – a soft-landing in biomedical writing

Building supports for writers – online tutorials, webinars, ‘write-with-me’ sessions
Participants will need a laptop to fully participate in this event.

Dr Brian Budgell (BSc(Hons), DC, MSc, PhD) Director, Life Sciences Laboratories. Dr Budgell is a distinguished chiropractor and educator based in Canada with over 40 years of experience who is widely recognised for his contributions to chiropractic documentation and has presented globally on topics related to clinical practice and patient case writing.
