Advocacy Delivers Results – Significant Increase WorkSafe Victoria Fees

In Thursday’s e-news, members in Victoria were given the good news that as of 1 July 2026, WorkSafe Victoria will introduce a significantly improved chiropractic fee schedule following 12 months of formal review, submissions, and sustained lobbying by the ACA, in partnership with CA.

The new fees include:

  • Initial consultation: $85.06 → $131.12 (54% increase)
  • Standard consultation: $59.80 → $71.28 (19% increase)

For many years, chiropractic fees in the Victorian scheme had fallen well behind comparable professions and workers’ compensation schemes across Australia. This outcome reflects long-term and sustained advocacy by many in the profession, including representatives from CAAVIC (pre-amalgamation) and the ACA.

The data collected from members participating in the biennial consultation fee survey and Workers Compensation surveys played a pivotal role in our submissions and advocacy.

Thank you to the members who contributed their time, expertise, and feedback over the years and throughout this process. Individually, those contributions matter. Together, they amplify our advocacy.
