Graduate Celebrations make a Comeback!

||

After two years of postponements in some states, it is great to see universities across the country hosting graduation balls once again. While the experience of graduation may be different in each state, we want to acknowledge all chiropractic graduates across the county and congratulate you all on this wonderful achievement.

Murdoch University

Western Regional Manager Shelly-Anne Cornell attended the Murdoch University graduation ball, along with several Western Region Committee members. The graduating class of 2021 MoveIt! Celebrated in style on 20 November 2021 at the Pan Pacific’s Grand Ballroom. Shelly-Anne and committee members all agreed it was a wonderful evening and a great privilege to be a part of such a special night.

CQUniversity

Dr Mark McEwan and Northern Regional Manager Robyn Cummings attended the CQUniversity graduation ball, on Saturday 19 February at Mirra Private Events in Brisbane. Robyn shares some words of wisdom she heard from a member, “If you want a rainbow, you need both rain and sunshine; so reflect on both the good and the bad, as together they will help you grow to be the best chiropractor you can be.”

Macquarie University

On Friday 6 May, both the graduating classes of 2019 and 2020 held their combined graduation ball in Sydney. Family and friends joined graduates in celebrating, dancing well into the night. Dr Aimee Mason and I attended on behalf of the ACA, with Dr Mason presenting the ACA awards to Dr Sean Candler, Dr Dean Esposito and Dr Justine Carson. Congratulations also to Dr Hung Jae Lee and Jack McDonald who also received awards but were unable to attend the ball.

RMIT University

RMIT University held its graduation ball on Thursday 16 December at the San Remo Ballroom. The graduates celebrated with their family and friends and RMIT teachers also came along to celebrate. Many special awards were presented and all who attended danced the night away. It was great for students to finally have a proper send-off following a difficult few years with COVID-19.
